Dream Punk is the mixture of dreamy post rock synth and instrumentals imposed upon punk rock
bluesy power chords. Aside from that, the genre is wide open. Lyrical content usually ranges from
drugs, social problems, love, and philosophic based. Dream Punk can be closely woven with the flower punk movement of bands like; The Black Lips, The Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Wavves, The Horrors, The Lids, and King Khan's acts. Dream Punk could be the brainchild of a mixture of early modest mouse (lonesome crowded west, or the moon and Antarctica) + Depeche Mode (Violator) + The Bad Brains. - ? Mysterian
